Hi guys, what was the best times around Spa last night, do you recall? I was really struggling, couldn't get into a flow at all. Needing practice, or an Alfa Romeo Smile

Hey Chris.

I think you look at a mid 2:31 for Spa. My best the yesterday when i practiced was a 2:31.6, night before was a 2:32.2 for some reason struggled, night before that was a 2:31.7.

Low 2:31's would be an ideal time to aim at constantly...but i think mid to high 2:31's should keep you in the top pack.

Car choice, as a test yesterday around Road America, i was 0.2 slower in the BMW. Around here, i think the Seat is not as quick as the Honda, Alfa Romeo or Cheverolet. Each car drives a little different, so one might suit your style of driving more but they all pretty close!

Its personal preferance really, best to try them all then see which suits you more. I like the Alfa's feel of pull, which i felt the Seat never had amd felt the Seat was revving too much lol. Seat is quick in the right persons hands though.

Well that's a bummer as I was only managing low 32's last night before I joined you at Brno. Sad

Im sure you will pick up the pace in a pack...low 32's is not bad at all.
