WTCC Season 1 Schedule

A mammoth GP race at Spa sounds like a great season finale!!! How many of you would like this, Cronnie sounds like you in then hahaha.

It would be great. I like the idea of +\- 20 mins race. For those who make a mistake can have the chance to recouver. I raced in almost all tracks and the only one that have bugs in pit stop is Porto. Cheers

Anderstorp, Pau and Porto all have bugs. Estoril has an intermittent bug. Monzas pit speed line moves. And if your making a champ that mirrors touring cars they don't have pits anyway. All introducing a pit stop does is allow more laps for the faster guys to escape. But i would love a season finale GP distance of Spa.

Pit stops are a bad idea, only ever had problems with them on RP. As for a GP length race, you guys are mad I love Spa but not so much in touring cars, i get bored doing 7 laps around there let alone 44. That aside, if one person gets left behind the pack or has an incident, can you really expect them to show interest for an entire race?! Touring cars are all about sprint races in my opinion.

between 20 and 25 min races are ok with me(with race 2 around 15 min). 7 laps at laguna was really to short, just when i was settled and got in a flow the race was over.
44 laps at spa in wtcc will take about 2 hours i think.. im ok with it but not sure if all will stay untill the finnish

Not sure if my xbox controller batteries would last 2 hours , needless to say, it would be slightly annoying if they gave up at 1 hour 55 mins! :-)

Lol...to me sprint races make for better racing overall for the majority, and like Chris/Torg says, if a guy does not have pace or makes a mistake and has no pace they lose interest real fast. We tried long endurance racing in Forza...we would have 12 guys enter, 3 guys finish and the rest leave as soon as they see they not getting anywhere.

But...as a once off race for the season finale...im game for a GP style pit stop endurance race, i know i wont win, but what the hell its something different and certainly not a regular thing so im cool with 1 race long.

I'm cool with an endurance race on Spa.
maybe with Formula BMW or just with WTCC.
GT isn't really my thing.
Another idea maybe, is like a timed race +1lap.
I did a 4hours race on Gran Turismo (ps3) with a friend and I really enjoyd it.
So maybe a 2hour race +1lap is an idea.
or 90 minutes+1lap.
To bad that there is no Nordschleiffe on racepro.

For now im thinking its a full endurance race, full points and then instead of being able to drop 2 events from calendar you be able to drop 3, so for those who dont wish to do this, they are not affected!

Will be WTCC, as its a WTCC season finale!!! Actualy distance, time, well a time race is a good idea like Le Mans, i like that idea, but hard to end it and control it then as the game does not allow for time based, so we would need to set it on an average lap basis so might get a bit tricky. What we can do which is easier, is work out how many laps a certain time might be and run a race by that many laps!
